External disk data recovery

Think it is a good time to start recording my everyday work.

This time it is a faulty Maxtor external hard drive.

First step, get it out of the caddy.

Then out of the housing. 

It is a little bit surprising because Maxtor did not use its own hard drive but Seagate's.

Next steps are simple. Just connect to computer and restore the data with a special software.
